These are considered "panel units" and are installed next to your electric panel box where the circuit breakers are located. If you are unsure of the proper size, check the size of the main breaker in your panel or ask an electrician. Most homes receive 200 Amp service, although apartments and condominiums may receive less. Each of these devices are rated for 240 to 480 Volts. Prices do not include installation; consult with your electrician for installation costs.
